BNB Chain finished the third quarter of 2026 as the top network for tokenized-equity trading, holding the largest share of volume, supply and holders among the chains tracked by Blockworks, according to Coincentral. The network recorded about $25.6 billion in tokenized-stock trades, against $2.4 billion in the second quarter.

Crypto.news reported the same headline figure, describing the quarterly total as roughly eleven times the prior quarter. Both outlets drew on the Blockworks Q3 token-holder report and on a post from BNB Chain’s official account dated October 22.

Key facts

  • Tokenized-equity trading on BNB Chain reached about $25.6 billion in Q3 2026, up from $2.4 billion in Q2, per Blockworks.
  • Tokenized-stock supply on the network hit about $1.13 billion by September 30, equal to 39% of the $2.89 billion tracked across chains, with roughly 1.8 million holders.
  • Network real economic value rose 54% to $54.2 million, made up of $49.1 million in transaction fees and $5.1 million in MEV payments.
  • The 37th quarterly burn removed about 1.646 million BNB on October 19, worth around $1.2 billion, leaving supply near 131.51 million BNB as of October 21.
  • bnn Chain’s 37th burn followed a quarter in which lender deposits rose 42% to $3.57 billion.

How bStocks reshaped the quarter

Coincentral tied the jump in activity to the June 11 launch of bStocks, which meant Q3 was the product’s first full reporting quarter. Decentralized exchanges carried $24.4 billion of the total, and Ondo Global Markets added $1.2 billion.

Blockworks compared $45.8 billion in tokenized-asset DEX trading across the networks it tracks, excluding pairs involving memecoins. BNB Chain accounted for more than half, ahead of Robinhood Chain at $10.2 billion and Solana at $6.4 billion.

Crypto.news added detail on where the volume concentrated. QQQB, a tokenized Invesco QQQ ETF product, generated roughly 80% of bStocks’ DEX volume, and the Native trading venue handled about 36% of bStocks volume. Other products traded included SPCXB, SPYB and NVDAB. Daily activity peaked at $1.2 billion on July 26, then settled: from mid-August, weekly volumes generally ranged between $600 million and $1.1 billion, with one week in September reaching $2.1 billion.

The supply figure also carried an outlet-specific note. Crypto.news reported bStocks accounted for $810 million of the $1.13 billion in tokenized equities on the network, and said holders represented 38% of the tracked cross-chain total.

Revenue up, activity mixed

Network earnings grew even as some user metrics weakened. Real economic value climbed 54% from $35.2 million in Q2, according to Crypto.news, which also cited Blockworks’ token-holder net income measure of $45.1 million, up 57%.

BNB Smart Chain processed 1.51 billion transactions, a 7.5% increase, while average transaction fees reached $0.032, Crypto.news reported. Daily active addresses fell 14% to 2.10 million, meaning transaction growth did not translate into a wider active user base. Coincentral reported the same directional split without the fee figure.

Lending deposits reached $3.57 billion, up 42%, with outstanding borrowing rising 33% to $940 million. Tokenized equities used in lending markets grew from $6 million to $62 million but stayed under 2% of deposits. Crypto.news also reported stablecoin supply down 4.6% to $13.22 billion, attributed largely to lower USD1 balances, and non-stablecoin real-world asset supply up 24% to $4.96 billion.

The Pasteur hard fork activated on August 25, Crypto.news reported. Its BidBlock V2 system then produced about 98% of blocks and averaged 28% more gas per block than the earlier approach.

BNB chart levels traders are watching

On the token’s price chart, analyst Crypto With Gopal wrote on October 20 that BNB may be forming a double bottom, with buyers defending a $705–$710 support zone and price approaching a $736 neckline. Coincentral reported the analyst’s view that a breakout above $736 could open a path to $775, provided higher volume backs the move, while a rejection could keep BNB range-bound and a drop below $705 would weaken the pattern. Analyst Don also posted on X on October 22 describing a falling wedge on the chart.

These are chart-based scenarios, not forecasts of a guaranteed outcome. This is not financial advice, and crypto markets are volatile and uncertain.

Why it matters

Tokenized equities are one of the areas where blockchain networks are competing most directly for institutional flows, and the Blockworks ranking puts BNB Chain ahead of networks that have marketed tokenized-stock products heavily. Supply of $1.13 billion and 1.8 million holders give the network a measurable base rather than a pilot program. At the same time, the drop in daily active addresses and the dominance of a single product, QQQB, mean the quarter’s volume rests on a narrow set of instruments. The burn and the falling supply count continue to separate BNB from networks that do not reduce token supply on a schedule.

What to watch

The immediate chart test is a daily close above $736, which Coincentral said would confirm the neckline break and put $775 in play. On network data, the next Blockworks quarterly report will show whether bStocks volume holds above the post-July range.
