Editorial policy

Two kinds of content
- CryptoNewsroom articles in our news sections (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Altcoins, DeFi and others), Analysis and Guides are produced by our newsroom and carry our name.
- News feed items at /news/ are headlines and short summaries from other publishers, always labelled with the source and linked to the original. They are not our reporting. See Our sources.
Independence
CryptoNewsroom decides what to cover on editorial merit. Advertisers, sponsors, token issuers and partners have no say over our coverage and never see stories before publication. We do not accept payment for news coverage.
Sourcing and attribution
We base our articles on primary material wherever possible, such as regulator statements, court filings, company announcements and on-chain data, and we cross-check against more than one report. When our article builds on another outlet’s reporting, we name and link that outlet. We do not publish unverified rumours as fact; when a claim cannot be confirmed we say so.
Use of AI and automation
We use software, including AI writing tools, to monitor sources, gather facts and draft articles. Drafts are checked automatically for factual consistency with their sources, originality and quality, and articles that fail are not published. Published articles are reviewed again and corrected or withdrawn if problems are found. Articles produced with AI assistance are labelled at the end of the article. Market data is always taken from the named data provider, never invented.
Sponsored content
Press releases and paid articles are published only in the Press Releases section, labelled as sponsored, and their links carry rel=”sponsored”. They are not written, edited or verified by our newsroom. We do not accept sponsored content about gambling, token presales, cloud mining or guaranteed-return schemes.
Corrections
