Absa Wins Approval to Launch Institutional Digital Asset Custody in Africa

Absa bank obtained authorization from South African regulators to provide custody, administration, and transfer services for digital assets to corporate clients. The initial infrastructure supports four assets: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), XRP Ledger (XRP), and the stablecoin USD Coin (USDC).
