Trailing 30-day XRP whale inflows to Binance climbed to approximately 1.669 billion tokens as of mid-October 2026, the highest level in seven months, according to CryptoQuant data compiled by Zycrypto.

The metric had stood at roughly 1.65 billion XRP in September before easing, and has now rebounded past that mark, Zycrypto reported. Cryptobriefing, reporting the same data on Oct. 15, 2026, placed the figure at 1.669 billion and noted the token was trading around $1.31 on that date, down about 5% over the prior 24 hours.

Key facts

  • CryptoQuant’s 30-day measure of XRP moved from large wallets onto Binance reached approximately 1.669 billion XRP, the highest in seven months.
  • Zycrypto reported the metric was about 1.65 billion XRP in September, before dipping and then climbing back.
  • Cryptobriefing reported a September 2026 peak of around 1.6 billion XRP, which it described at the time as a six-month high.
  • XRP traded near $1.31 on Oct. 15, 2026, down about 5% over 24 hours, according to Cryptobriefing.
  • US spot XRP ETFs recorded cumulative net inflows of $1.8 billion over 13 straight weeks through mid-October 2026, Cryptobriefing reported, including roughly $740,000 on Oct. 14, 2026.

Deposits versus selling pressure

Zycrypto quoted an analyst who said the data matter because more XRP on an exchange enlarges the supply available for trading, which could raise the risk of downward price pressure if large holders sell part of their holdings. The same analyst added that rising inflows do not necessarily signal imminent selling, since transfers can also stem from reallocations between wallets or from using other services on Binance.

Cryptobriefing framed the reading the same way, noting that exchange deposits can also reflect liquidity management, collateral for derivatives positions, or other trading strategies by large holders. What the inflows reliably show, in that account, is a rise in liquidity sitting on Binance that can move quickly if conditions change.

ETF demand on the other side of the ledger

While whales were moving coins to Binance, US spot XRP ETFs kept absorbing demand, according to Cryptobriefing. Those funds reported $1.8 billion in cumulative net inflows over 13 consecutive weeks through mid-October 2026, a stretch without a single week of net outflows. The outlet described the most recent daily print of roughly $740,000 on Oct. 14 as modest next to the cumulative total.

The two reports diverge slightly on the September comparison: Zycrypto cited about 1.65 billion XRP, while Cryptobriefing put the earlier peak at around 1.6 billion XRP and labeled it a six-month high at the time.

Why it matters

The headline number can be read two ways, and the sources treat it with caution. More XRP on Binance means more supply that could be sold, but the same deposits can serve liquidity and collateral needs rather than a decision to exit. The September spike did not settle the token’s direction on its own, which is a reason to be wary of reading too much into the latest one.

The ETF streak is the counterweight. Zycrypto and Cryptobriefing both stress that inflow trends only become meaningful alongside net flows, trading volumes and price action, because that combination is what distinguishes genuine selling pressure from a higher volume of tokens simply landing on an exchange.

What to watch

The daily ETF figures are the clearest near-term signal: a shift to net outflows would break the 13-week streak that has supported the bullish case, while a continued run of inflows would keep the two forces in tension. The next 30-day update to the CryptoQuant inflow figure will show whether the rebound persists or fades.

This is not financial advice, and the market for XRP and related products is volatile and uncertain.
