BlackRock leads $53 million Ethereum ETF inflow day

US spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds pulled in a net $53.02 million on November 4, 2026, snapping a stretch of daily withdrawals, Crypto Briefing reported. Roughly $514.8 million had left the group of 11 funds over the week before, so the single green day marks a modest shift in sentiment rather than a full reversal.
BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust, ticker ETHA, carried most of the day’s buying, drawing between $32.75 million and $32.8 million, per Crypto Briefing.
Key facts
- US spot Ethereum ETFs posted a net $53.02 million inflow on November 4, 2026, the first positive day after about $514.8 million of outflows in the prior week.
- Fidelity’s FETH ranked second with $19.24 million of inflows; Grayscale’s ETH fund added $13.6 million and ETHE took in $9.68 million, while 21Shares’ TETH brought in $0.12 million.
- Only five of the 11 funds recorded inflows; the rest were flat or negative.
- BlackRock’s staking-focused ETHB lost $22.38 million, its largest outflow since late June.
- ETHA holds about 3.53 million ETH, manages $8.61 billion in assets and accounts for a 59.5% market share; total daily ETF volume reached $947.59 million, with $626 million of that in ETHA alone.
A concentrated bid inside a narrow window
The buying was not broad. ETHA and FETH together supplied the bulk of the day’s net figure, and the remaining inflows were small by comparison. That pattern reinforces a durable feature of this market: the largest issuer sets the tone, and newer or smaller funds capture only thin slices. TETH’s $0.12 million shows how little can be left at the lower end of the table.
ETHA’s scale is the reason. With a 59.5% share and most of the group’s trading volume, it functions as the default venue for anyone using a brokerage account to gain ETH exposure rather than a crypto exchange — the model US spot Ethereum ETFs adopted at their July 2024 launch, following the path of spot Bitcoin funds.
The ETHB puzzle
The more interesting detail is inside BlackRock’s own lineup. On the same day its flagship Ethereum fund attracted money, its separate staking-focused product shed $22.38 million, the largest exit from ETHB since late June. Crypto Briefing reported that research points to investors shifting money between BlackRock’s own products rather than souring on Ethereum — but the report also cautions that the destination of the money is not confirmed, so the reallocation reading remains an interpretation rather than a documented fact.
Across the group, cumulative net inflows since the July 2024 launch sit at roughly $12.08 billion to $12.12 billion, with total net assets near $14.12 billion, or about 4.77% of Ethereum’s market capitalization. ETH itself closed near $2,273 to $2,274 on November 4.
Why it matters
A $53 million day is small against $514.8 million of prior-week outflows, so the headline number overstates the change in mood. The composition matters more: heavy dependence on ETHA and FETH means the flow data is effectively a read on a handful of issuers, and a shift in either can swing the aggregate. For investors using these funds as their Ethereum exposure, the ETHB exit is a reminder that product-level flows can diverge sharply from the direction of the asset itself.
What to watch
The next daily flow prints will show whether November 4 was a one-off or the start of sustained demand, and whether ETHB continues to bleed while ETHA attracts — or whether the two BlackRock products move together again.
